Talent has strengthened its professional services offering Avec, with the appointment of Project Management expert Dennis Grant as Managing Director.

Previously CEO of Adcorp Holdings Australia and founder of allaboutXpert, Dennis Grant brings more than 20 years’ global experience in the professional services and project delivery sector.

Founded in 2007, Avec is a specialist IT Project Delivery company which provides technology-agnostic implementation solutions across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Avec marries innovation with practicality through a number of people, process, system and practice enablers to ensure more effective and efficient delivery.

Talent Founder and Executive Chairman Richard Earl said Grant’s commencement coincided with a strategic refresh for Avec to reflect the way the market is changing.

“Avec will become an even more integral part of Talent’s global offering, delivering IT projects in a better and more responsive way than the traditional established players. We feel the market is crying out for a more pragmatic and agenda-free approach that can deliver cost effective solutions in a timely manner. This could not be more relevant given the times we’re in. Talent CEO Mark Nielsen said Avec’s new direction would add significant scale to the group’s service capability.

Avec will continue to leverage the resources of Talent, Australia and New Zealand’s largest technology and digital recruitment specialist either through its access to 10,000 highly vetted consultants on Talent Engage or through the enormous range of existing customers that the company has. However, Nielsen stressed this is a quite separate business with its own assets and delivery IP.
