ABN recognised the need to increase efficiency in the overall delivery of their IT services and streamline their platforms. The new solution would need to replace a number of independent off-the-shelf and in-house developed solutions whilst providing the ABN Group IT Services department with a solid platform to support on-going improvements in service delivery.

The Solution
We embarked on a process to replace ABN’s existing IT services management solutions with ServiceNow Express – a leading cloud based IT Services Management (ITSM) solution. This included analysing ABN Group’s ITSM requirements, designing a new configuration of the ServiceNow Express user interface and many other customised software developments for the ServiceNow Express application. We implemented our project management methodologies to manage the project and provided training and knowledge transfer to bring the solution to full production.
The Result
The ABN Group successfully implemented the new ServiceNow Express solution, which has created a multitude of new efficiencies and capabilities for their operations. The group has automated daily support tasks and enabled the tracking and measurement of performance through real-time, interactive dashboards. We facilitated implementing the new management and planning system by training the group’s personnel to best utilise the solution in their environment. As a result, the technology now underpins the full lifecycle of ABN’s projects and operational activities.
